Twisted Treasures 

Twisted Treasures was established in 2017, under the original business name of 'Twisted Jewellery' by Jamie Blythe. 

Jamie is the daughter of Ann and Peter Blythe, opal miners who lived in Mintabie South Australia for many years. Peter, a very talented opal cutter and miner, and Ann started their own opal retail business in 1978, called Mineshaft. Mineshaft is still open in the Canberra Centre. 

Ann is quite the artist herself, creating numerous stunning paintings, and is very talented at dancing, performing and singing. 

Being born into a rock hound family, and to such a creatively talented mother, Jamie started to form her passion towards crystals and all things creative. 

She discovered a passion for creating wire wrapped jewellery and sculptures in her early 20s and turned her passion into a business. 

Wire wrapping then led into the need to source her own crystals, and so Twisted Treasures started to form.
